Shoreditch Members’ Club, Restaurant and BarThe East Room in Shoreditch is the latest addition to the international group of bars and members' clubs comprising Milk & Honey (in London and New York) and The Player (in Soho)The East Room has a 24 hour licence and is open all day from 11am (Mon-Fri) until 1am (Mon-Wed) and until 3am (Thu-Sat). We open at 7pm on Saturdays. We are also open all day on Sundays from 11am for Sunday brunch and from 1pm for Sunday roast, we close at 8pm. Spread across three floors with two outside spaces – The Terrace and The Roof Garden, a Dining Room and a Members’ Lounge, The East Room has an attitude to food and wine you’re more likely to find in Melbourne or San Francisco than in London. So…no dark basement, no cracked flagstones, no damp sawdust, no carrots and no crackers. And, most importantly, the wine doesn't taste like there are 2p coins in the bottom of the glass. Apart from two champagnes, and the occasional wine sampler taste-off, all of the wines at The East Room are from the New World - Chile, Argentina, South Africa, Australia and New Zealand. |
