The East Roof is our new roof garden and a strange cross between a Shoreditch roof terrace, a beer/wine garden and an urban allotment. We are starting to grow lots of herbs and vegetables up there in the small space we have - basil, chives, mint, thyme, peppers, chillies, aubergines and beans - that will be used in our kitchen. We've also got quince and apple trees with other fruit trees coming. The Roof Garden is a few floors up and still settling in but it's great for a DIY lunch or early evening drink in the sun. You can also book out the whole or part of The East Roof for drinks and a BBQ for 20-50 people. The Roof Den (the little lounge-y bit at the end with eucalyptus trees and jasmine vines) can be hired for 10-15 people. The Roof Garden is a special space and so if you want bits (or all) of it to yourself, minimum spends may apply.
