Rooftop Pop-Up Alpine Lodge - The Clubhouse Shoreditch
‘The Clubhouse Shoreditch’ is the name of our new rooftop pop-up Alpine Lodge. Try saying that after a few glasses of vin chaud... On arrival, it’s shoes off and woolly socks on; sink into a comfy, cushioned sofa and enjoy the cosy warmth of a roaring open fire. There are ‘views’ of the Mont Blanc massif and your (fairground) helicopter standing by ready to whisk you off for some high Alpine adventure.
Expect to share a bubbling, three cheese fondue, a piping hot plate of tartiflette or a mountain-size portion of Pot au Feu (served straight from the fire) to satisfy your Alpine appetite. Wash it all down with our own vin chaud and start the party with some ice-cold Eristoff(ee) vodka shots. To lift the aprés-ski mood, groups can also buy the Grey Goose Glacier, a giant 4.5l rehoboam of frozen vodka encased in a block of ice (with all the mixers) or organise your own fireside ‘Keg Party’ by ordering an 88 pint barrel of beer with a DIY hand pump to help yourself.
The Clubhouse Shoreditch will pop-up for the whole of December and right through until March 2010. The space has been designed with party and group bookings (of 20-70 guests) in mind and to be used as an extra members’ lounge when not privately hired. We hope that lots of you will use it on Sundays after brunch or your Sunday roast.
Some of you have been very quick off the mark and already most of the evenings in December are fully booked. This means that for December, daytimes (and Sundays) will be the best time to make use of the space (and the fires will be lit from noon until late every day except Saturdays when we open at 7pm).

Our Head Chef, Neal Cooper, has created the new roof-top menu with help from Mark Webb, who has been the Head Chef at The Clubhouse in Chamonix-Mont Blanc since 2006 and he knows his Alpine onions.
